Class Descriptions

 

Vinyasa

From the Sanskrit “to place in a special way”, Vinyasa yoga aligns the body with the breath in a deliberate sequence of poses, or asanas, to achieve a continuous flow. Participants in a Vinyasa class will awaken their strength, energy, and flexibility in a fun atmosphere. All levels welcome.

 

Pilates

60 min

Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility, muscular strength, and endurance movements. Pilates is a total body workout which emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength, and muscle balance. Named after it’s creator, Joseph Pilates, who developed the exercise in the 1920s. All levels welcome.

 

Yoga Burn

60 min

Get ready to sweat! In these circuit-style classes you will see traditional yoga poses along with a variety of strength and endurance movements using your own body weight, hand weights, resistance bands, etc. Participants are burning 300-500 calories per class! All levels welcome.

 

Aerial Flow

60 min

 

In this hour long class you will experience similar poses, or asanas, you are accustomed to seeing in a traditional yoga class, only taught in and/or with the assistance of the aerial hammock. Participants will be guided through a variety of grounded, floating, and inverted movements connecting mind, body, and soul. You will leave this class feeling challenged, strong, refreshed, and relaxed. All levels welcome.

 

Aerial Fusion

60 min

Aerial fusion is a mixture of our aerial flow format combined with elements of strength conditioning along with fun aerial poses and tricks! Challenge your mind and body as you impress yourself with your aerial skills! It is recommended that participants in this class have already taken 3-5 aerial classes prior to taking aerial fusion.

 

Barre

60 min

Barre is a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, Pilates, and strength training. This class focuses on low-impact, high intensity movements designed to give you a total body workout with finesse. If you want to improve your posture, increase core strength , become more flexible, improve muscle tone, you should give barre a try! Barre is a great workout for anyone. It is beginner friendly and adaptable to all levels.
